I say you use that money and do something awesome for yourself! I’m sure there’s something you’ve always wanted to do but haven’t. Me? I want to stay a weekend in one of the haunted rooms at the Battery Carriage Inn. LOL I’m weird like that.
Buy yourself something nice!
Years ago a local radio station offered the Non-Lottery 4x a day when they would read off a series of numbers and IF you had a dollar bill with those numbers in the correct sequence, you won a thousand or more dollars. I changed fives into ones often and soon had a HUGE collection of $1 bills.
They would call the numbers and I believe you had like 98 seconds to call in with the winning bill.
I kept my stash and a cell phone handy and actually came within one number or two several times!
I would pull off to the side of the road and frantically flip through my growing stacks of dollars.
Eventually they stopped doing the contest and I wandered into a Wal-Mart and bought a huge screen tv for about $450 and counted it out, dollar by dollar. They helped me put it in my vehicle too.
Heh — I’m going to be in Beaufort next month sometime — is that Northern Italian restaurant in Charleston still going? I need another tourist day in Charleston — didn’t get to see nearly enough on my last trip!
And, dang — that gives new meaning to ‘a chunck of change’!
I would love to go out to dinner, and could probably find a way to spend all that money. I like fancy places with all sorts of interesting courses. And expensive wine/beer.
While the haul from my little box of coins wasn’t nearly as big as Mike’s, I did manage to net about $120, which was about twice what I was expecting. Taking a cue from Mike, I also decided to take…
I’m spoken for so no date, but must say that I’m impressed with the amount of money that you saved. Did you roll into wrappers all by yourself?!!
Shit. I might’ve picked the wrong brother.
;-p
Uh, remember, Hilton Head, one week away……
LOL I’ll go…strictly platonic…but I’d have to go dutch. Most likely since Jimmy would go along. What the heck…it’d be a meeting of new friends. LOL

Alison, you probably picked the right brother. The women who sleep with me usually wind up hiring a lawyer.
I’m sorry Sunnie but it will freak me out if Jimmy watches.
LOL Mike! That’s the funniest thing I’ve read so far today.
wow, that’s a pretty good haul.
Ummm… Hellooooo! My inheritance?

No takers, Mike? Well, you could always throw a handful of change in a sock and make someone go with you.
Heh heh heh. Go Teresa!
I say splurge on a decadent meal with Jo Ann in Hilton Head. Get pedicures. That kind of thing.
Perhaps you should use it to buy one of those plastic dinghys to do your trolling! 😉 😉
